Senior Project and Operations Manager
Karen joined the NSVRC in 2003 and serves as the Senior Project and Operations Manager. Prior to joining the NSVRC, Karen worked for Warren County. Karen holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree with a major in Computer Programming and Systems Analysis from Laurel Ridge Community College. Karen has earned numerous certificates from the National Highway and Transit Institutes at Rutgers and completed the Project Management program from James Madison University in 2022. Karen has also served as the Vice President of the Chesapeake Chapter for the Association for Commuter Transportation and Chair for Washington Council of Governments Ridesharing Committee. Karen manages the Winchester Frederick County MPO, RideSmart Program, regional transit planning projects and the On-Call Consultant Program.
