Non Discrimination Statement- Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Americans with Disabilities Act
The Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission (NSVRC) gives public notice of its policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes. Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which NSVRC receives Federal financial assistance. Further, in accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission (NSVRC) will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs or activities.
